German courses:
We offer various German courses in order to
give you the possibility to choose the right course according your
needs and goals. The courses are supplemented with extra offers like
excursions, a cultural programme, self learning facilities and learning
advice.
Group tuition
You want to learn to communicate effectively in German in an
international atmosphere with other course participants? Then group
tuition is appropriate for you.
Intensive courses take place in groups and are offered in various
levels regularly in the morning as well as in the afternoon. We already
pay attention during application that course participants are from
different countries in order to allow them to communicate in German
with other participant and with the teacher. These are small groups to
enable a pleasant and successful learning experience. The intensive
courses take place on five days a week, 20 to 25 hours per week, and
last 8 or 10 weeks.
The tuition language is German, whereby on demand participants can get
consulting and support in their own commonly spoken language. The
courses are supported and complemented with consultation, leisure
activities, excursions, and facilities for self learning.
In the courses you are being prepared for life and/or further studies
in Germany. All of our teachers have completed higher education and
possess long-term experience. Course participants are sorted into
classes of various different levels with others at who have matching
levels, so that all can constantly increase their German language
skills.
We label our courses according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
We consider from the start in all levels the actual goals of course
participants and add permanent extra possibilities to our offers. This
is particularly important for you, if you want to pass a specific exam
e.g. Zertifikat Deutsch, entrance examination Studienkolleg, DSH or
TestDaF.
The German course A1 is appropriate for course participants with little
or no previous knowledge. Participants who want to learn German from
scratch can attend this course. At the end of the course you have the
opportunity to pass the exam Start Deutsch 1.
Participants, who already have knowledge of German language and want to
increase this by a course at Spracheninstitut, do a test first in order
to determine the appropriate course.
In order to ascertain the success of learning, we do an exam in the
middle and at the end of each course. Then the following levels begin.
The last level C1 is appropriate for course participants, who passed
the preceding courses and want to study in Germany or want to work in a
linguistically sophisticated profession after passing the DSH or
TestDaF exam. It takes about one year from the first level (A1) to the
end of the last level (C1).
For our courses in Germany, we use developed textbooks and support these with our own additional material.
Single tuition
You want to learn German as fast as possible, effective, individual and
oriented towards your requirements? Then single tuition is the
optimal form of learning for you. You can of course get single tuition
additional to a group course. We offer single tuition for all levels
and also for special languages. First we test your knowledge free of
charge in order to orientate the course towards your needs. You can
book the single tuition for at least 10 hours (á 45 minutes).
The tuition can take place at Spracheninstitut as well as another place
e.g. your company.
Crash course
If you want to learn a language for professional or private reasons or
as exam preparation very fast and oriented towards your needs, a crash
course is the appropriate form of tuition for you. There are different
variations and possibilities; with one or two teachers, as single
tuition or in a small group, at weekends or during the week, as
preparation for a specific exam or action etc. We consult you about
details personally before the crash course begins.
Evening courses
If you work, study, look after children, do a practical training, write
your master thesis (e.g. in English) during the day and therefore have
not enough time to attend an intensive course during the day, then you
have the possibility of attending an evening course in order to improve
your German knowledge. The German courses in the evening take place on
three weekdays at 18.00 ( 6 o’clock) and comprise 10 hours per
week.
